For years, my client had been battling an overwhelming, unexplained exhaustion. No amount of rest, diet changes, or lifestyle adjustments seemed to make a difference. Their body felt perpetually drained, as if weighed down by something unseen. It wasn’t until we began exploring the deeper emotional and biological layers of their experience that a powerful realisation surfaced—their exhaustion was not just physical. It was tied to the unresolved grief of losing their father.
Through Resolve Beyond Neurology principles, muscle monitoring, and targeted clearance techniques, we uncovered how their nervous system had stored the loss, how their body had adapted to carry it, and—most importantly—how they could finally release it.
The Biological Connection Between Grief and Fatigue
From a Resolve perspective, every symptom holds a biological meaning. Fatigue is not just “random depletion”—it is a response to an unresolved conflict playing out within the psyche-brain-organ connection.
In this case, the exhaustion was linked to a death conflict that had impacted the lungs and nervous system. The lungs, are associated with deep loss, mourning, and the fear of separation. When someone experiences a profound loss, their body may enter a biological state of conservation mode, slowing down energy output as if bracing for survival.
Additionally, a self-devaluation conflict was present, affecting the muscles and physical energy levels. This often occurs when a person unconsciously feels powerless in the face of a traumatic event—like losing a parent. If this conflict remains active, it can keep the body in a chronic state of low energy, as if it is still “waiting” for resolution.
The Investigative Process: Muscle Monitoring and iModes (Eye Modes)
Using muscle monitoring, we began asking the persons body and subconscious precise questions. Rather than approaching the fatigue as something to be “fixed,” we sought to understand what the body was holding onto. Through this method, the session revealed layers of emotional, neurological, and cellular memory tied to the father’s passing. The body responded to key questions surrounding:
• The moment of loss: Was there a significant event or shock related to the passing?
• The unspoken grief: Had emotions been fully expressed, or were they suppressed?
• The survival adaptation: Had the body learned to function with chronic exhaustion as a protective response?
Each response led us deeper into the emotional and neurological imprint of the event. To assist in clearing these patterns, we introduced specific eye mode patterns (iModes)—a powerful way to recalibrate the nervous system and integrate unresolved experiences.
iModes Used and Their Purpose
We selected targeted iModes to help shift the body out of survival mode and into a state of resolution. Each eye mode serves as a neurological access point, helping to reorganise the way the brain and body process unresolved emotional events.
The following iModes were used:
1. #16 – Healing Mode
• Purpose: To support the body’s natural ability to repair and restore balance.
• Why? The nervous system had been locked in a pattern of depletion, unable to fully regenerate. This iMode allowed the body to shift into deep cellular repair.
2. #17 – Ability to Compensate
• Purpose: To clear adaptations that keep the body stuck in stress loops.
• Why? The exhaustion had become a chronic compensation—a way of staying in a low-energy state to avoid fully feeling the grief. This iMode released the need for the body to hold onto depletion as a protective mechanism.
3. #12a – Intellect Mode
• Purpose: To release over-processing and mental overload.
• Why? The person had spent years intellectually rationalising the loss, keeping emotions at bay. This iMode helped shift the mind from overanalysing into emotional processing, allowing grief to be felt and integrated.
4. #10 – Essential-Self
• Purpose: To reconnect to stability, safety, and deeper self-trust.
• Why? The grief had created an unconscious sense of disconnection from life, leading to exhaustion. This iMode helped restore inner stability and a sense of being supported.
The Release: What Happened After the Clearances?
As we worked through each layer, the body began to respond immediately. Subtle but powerful shifts occurred:
• A noticeable lightness in the chest—as if the burden had lifted.
• A deep sense of relief—as though years of suppressed energy had been acknowledged.
• Tears of release—a clear sign that grief was finally being processed instead of stored.
• A shift in energy levels—by the end of the session, they felt noticeably more grounded and present.
The most significant transformation was the realisation that exhaustion wasn’t permanent—it was an adaptive response that could be released. Once the body no longer needed to hold onto grief as a survival mechanism, energy began to return naturally.
Final Affirmation: Rewriting the Relationship with Loss
To integrate the session and further support emotional release, we introduced a powerful affirmation:
“I honour my father’s memory with love, and I release the weight of sorrow. I welcome energy, peace, and balance into my life.”
By repeating this affirmation daily, they could continue reinforcing the new pattern of emotional integration and vitality.
Conclusion: A New Path Forward
This journey revealed an important truth: the body does not randomly experience exhaustion—it holds onto what has not been fully processed.
Through Resolve, muscle monitoring, and targeted clearances, we were able to decode the biological meaning of exhaustion, release stored grief, and restore energy flow.
This case is a testament to how deeply our emotions shape our physical state. When we give the body the permission to heal, it often does so in ways that are both profound and unexpected.
